Tire Pressure Warning (TPMS)

Schedule a Visit — Urgency 3/5
Can I still drive? — With caution

You can drive carefully to the nearest petrol station to check and inflate your tires. Go slowly and avoid sharp turns or sudden braking. If a tire looks very flat or you hear a flapping sound, do not drive on it — change to the spare or call for help. This is general information — always check pressures when tires are cold for the most accurate reading.

This is general guidance. Your situation may differ — when in doubt, don’t drive.

What does this mean?

Your tire pressure monitoring system has detected that one or more of your tires is lower on air than it should be. Low tire pressure affects your handling, braking, and fuel economy. It can also cause your tires to wear out faster or even blow out at high speed.

What should I do right now?

Check all four tires with a pressure gauge (or visually — a very low tire will look obviously flat on the bottom). Most petrol stations have an air machine where you can top up for free or a small fee. The correct pressure for your car is usually on a sticker inside the driver's door frame or in your manual.
