Your windscreen washer fluid is running low. This is the fluid that squirts onto your windscreen when you pull the washer stalk. It is not urgent, but having a clean windscreen is important for safe driving, especially in winter or when roads are muddy.
What should I do right now?
Top up your washer fluid — it is one of the easiest things to do yourself. Open your bonnet, find the cap with a windscreen wiper symbol on it, and pour in washer fluid. You can use premixed screen wash from any petrol station or supermarket. Do not use plain water — it can freeze in winter and does not clean as well.
